It all starts tomorrow!!!

One day to go. Following Chantelle's Blog, FatMumSlim, and being a part of an awesome online group has given me the inspiration to take this challenge in my stride.

I am excited, nervous, happy, scared and overwhelmed all at the same time, but I am looking forward to seeing what I can create!

Below is the outline for February, which I will be following.

4 Days to go...

Went on a wine tour for a friend's 30th Birthday today.

It was rainy and misty and cold, but so beautiful up at Mt Tambourine. The wines were delicious so Hubby and I bought 5 bottles - one from each winery we stopped at.

Lunch at Cedar Creek Estate was sublime!! Delicious steak cooked to perfection in a decadent gravy, with (fancy) potato bake, grilled tomato, spinach and asparagus... NOM! And dessert was apple strudel with a caramel sauce and fresh cream *drool*

I was thinking that I would use a combo of different cameras over the course of the photo a day challenge, but the more I think about it, using my phone camera seems like the best option, as I am able to edit and funkify each photo relatively simply compared to having to upload the photo to the computer and then use different software (not installed on my computer) that I've never used before to make my pictures more interesting....

*Shrug* I guess there are no hard and fast rules to the design of the photos. I will just play it by ear and see if something works. If not, doesn't matter.

7 Days to go...

I'm getting a little nervous about committing myself to taking a photo every day! It's daunting. Lots of thoughts running through my head about how my life is not really that exciting, I don't do very much etc.

Also, my photo editing abilities are pretty much slim to none, but I guess that's the whole point of this exercise - to experience something new, learn and grow. Plus document my life as it is now. Live in the moment and cherish every second.

Hello!

Just a quick post to get me started.

I missed the boat on the 365 (or is it 366?) Photo A Day Challenge for this year, but plan on picking it up at the start of February. At this stage, I'm committing to one month only - just in case I don't find enjoyment in it.

Okay, so that's a small introduction!

Looking forward to taking some awesome pictures come Feb 1!!
